In an unrelated matter, the plague of locusts is nothing to do with Brexit. Even though we did not have plagues of locusts before we left the EU.
1. Brexit is working because labour shortages are pushing up wages. 2. Lack of HGV drivers is nothing to do with Brexit
Wages are being pushed up because there's a shortage of 100,000 drivers, but the actual wages they're paying new drivers are still shockingly low. Brexit IS the cause of the driver shortages in this country, since nowhere else has been hit as hard as us.
Is that true? And I've not been aware of that department before -DoINB - must look it up.
